Beanie There, Done That.

Now today was Hot x_X

Firstly, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and you are all looking forward to this wonderful New Year on NYE =)

I want to also congratulate last night's winner of Poker. Mondy, I hope you enjoy your gift. You played well, and kept your composure well to win the 2nd game.
(I won the first game, with immense luck, and hence, no one won the prize =P )

Also, special mention to the cheating honest guy. It takes a big man to win all those chips, only to reveal you cheated. You showed good&bad character at the same time. Didn't think that was possible, but it seems like it can.

With last night's great play, I'm going to start a poker list. We play once in a while, usually as a result of "spur of the moment", either at my place, or at someone else's. Unfortunately it hasn't been routinely, but I don't mind giving it a go in the new year. We don't play any later than midnight to 1am, and we only play for poker chips, as I don't believe in gambling with money, unless I've guaranteed a win ;) ....... rofl
An invite to the list will be sent out soon, and if you would like to join, it means that you'll be legible for call when we decided to have a Poker game. We can also have pick ups arranaged, but if you have your own vehicle, that would be cooler.
If I haven't sent you an invite, don't be insulted, as I just have a feeling that you're not into poker, or you live too far away from me. But if you are interested, that would be superb, so feel free to give me a buzz. As they say, the more the merrier ^_^

Here's a pic of the 4 poker champs on Tuesday night.

That night, I learnt not to bluff with bad cards. Bbbaaaaaadddd.........

Earlier on that night, me and my friend, who will I will not name in respect for his privacy, set out to find some dinner in the city. He bet me Yoshinoya was open, and I bet him no. Punishment??? Had to sing Akon-I want to Fuck You atKaroake. Oh hahaha, this was interesting. Once we reached our destination, guess who won? I did ^_^ Moral of the story. Trust my judgement =D
As exciting as the bet was, we worked out on the way back that Green Box Plus didn't have the song, so we eventually worked out a harsher punishment.

Walking back into the Karoake room, shirtless =P

Haha, man did that take guts. Is the real Sexy Back? =P
PG rated ^_^

Anyways.

To end on a sad note. I lost my beanie today. Hence the title ;_;
It's the second one this year. First one was my bad boy one. This second one was the one from Somps. I'm sorry somps ;___;
I took it off on the bus because I wanted to feel the wind flowing through my hair. ><
Usually I check my seat before I leave, to check if I've left anything, but as the bus was arriving to my stop, I heard a miscellaneous ring tone from the direction of an empty seat. I automatically assumed someone had left their mobile, and being the wannabe Hero that I am, I went to look for it. I didn't find any mobile, and being distracted, I left the beanie on the bus. *Sigh.....* example of why there aren't much heroes in the world.

Hope you all had a good holiday!!!

BDM Pre-Christmas Party

Yesterday was Hot!!! (literally)

Twas' fun to hang out with the BDM crew. Too bad I missed the first part, the Karoake part. From what I hear, it was a not to miss. Oh well. Next time xD.....

Note to everyone: Karoake World has no reception inside. So please be considerate, and come out once in a while to see if anyone has been trying to contact you. Thank you!!

Okay... I finally got to show everyone Akenaya! (after it being a backburner place to eat)... WooT!!

Ultramarcus!_!

The place is alright, but what's different about the place is the toilet pass. Haha....... I did hype it up a little, but never did I expect it to do an inverse implosion. What does that mean, well.... according to the girls, the girls toilet smelt (REALLY BAD) yeah.... there was a guy in it. And something was smeared on the walls. And one cubicle was dark. Haha.... yeah.........lol.................... Sorry.............
If it makes it any better, the guys toilet was clean =P

Btw, thanks Emily for the cool Kriss Kringle!
And thanks for the lovely card Somps!
And I have to admit, when I bought the N*SYNC Kriss Kringle Gift, I had either Flora or Emily in mind (xD, reasons only they know).... haha, but they got each other, TWICE!!! Freak of coincidence? or fate?
Hope you like the Present Rach!!!

Afterwards, we headed down to Darling Harbour to get icecream. On the way, Marcus and I discovered King Pin and M9, a laser challenge place!! We were like WoaH!!!!! We successfully convinced the counter chick to show us around the arena, which was like:
"yeah, nice...... cool!..... nifty.......okay......... looks all the same now..............okay....let's go............."

Watching the kiddies

But in retrospect, the Bowling place was nice. Very Retro. I'd definitely come back for that one day.

Christmas Pressies

YaY!! I've done nearly most of my Christmas shopping.

Although I love large amounts of people, crowded environments, and the little hustle and bustle here, I just wanted to get it out of the way early this year.

Can't wait to distribute them.

He's out!! That is, cricket.

Oh my. My good friend Daniel invited me to the Sydney Cricket Ground to watch a game of cricket. My first initial thoughts weren't all too good. I loved cricket as a kid, but as I grew older, I begun disliking it due to it's slow pace, and "dagginess". Cricket is kinda like "watching the grass grow" slow.

So I was looking forward to this cricket game. It was Australia vs New Zealand. Hopefully this cricket game would rekindle my young love of Cricket. I wanted to give Cricket a chance.

NOT a chance. Today, it rained like shiba. I spent a while sitting there, may I add, IN THE RAIN. The teams played up to 6 overs, then it started to rain to a substantial level. They brought the players in. All the fans, including myself, are left there waiting for more instructions. We are told nothing.

Not happy at the weather, and the attitude to the fans, I went to do some research. It turns out if the game is canceled before 10 overs, a full refund is issued. If 10-25 overs are played, a half refund is made. When over 25 overs, they won't issue a refund.
That's like........ like................... paying full price for a bag of biscuits, being guaranteed 1/4, and the other 3/4 is not guaranteed ~_~
Anyways, enough of this slander.

I went on to ask a security guard when they would announce when the game would be officially canceled. He said 7:30. The time was 5:30. I had been there since 4:00. Forget about it.

I left.

Did I get a full refund. I don't know. I'll have to see.

Thanks so much for inviting me to the Sydney Cricket Ground. I really wanted to watch my first ever official cricket game live. But for next time, thanks, but no thanks. I don't think I would like to gamble my time like that again. All the best for us though, my attitude might change in a few weeks, but right now, no suredy bob.

P.S: I'll be posting up some pics up soon.
