Beanie There, Done That.

Now today was Hot x_X

Firstly, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and you are all looking forward to this wonderful New Year on NYE =)

I want to also congratulate last night's winner of Poker. Mondy, I hope you enjoy your gift. You played well, and kept your composure well to win the 2nd game.
(I won the first game, with immense luck, and hence, no one won the prize =P )

Also, special mention to the cheating honest guy. It takes a big man to win all those chips, only to reveal you cheated. You showed good&bad character at the same time. Didn't think that was possible, but it seems like it can.

With last night's great play, I'm going to start a poker list. We play once in a while, usually as a result of "spur of the moment", either at my place, or at someone else's. Unfortunately it hasn't been routinely, but I don't mind giving it a go in the new year. We don't play any later than midnight to 1am, and we only play for poker chips, as I don't believe in gambling with money, unless I've guaranteed a win ;) ....... rofl
An invite to the list will be sent out soon, and if you would like to join, it means that you'll be legible for call when we decided to have a Poker game. We can also have pick ups arranaged, but if you have your own vehicle, that would be cooler.
If I haven't sent you an invite, don't be insulted, as I just have a feeling that you're not into poker, or you live too far away from me. But if you are interested, that would be superb, so feel free to give me a buzz. As they say, the more the merrier ^_^

Here's a pic of the 4 poker champs on Tuesday night.

That night, I learnt not to bluff with bad cards. Bbbaaaaaadddd.........

Earlier on that night, me and my friend, who will I will not name in respect for his privacy, set out to find some dinner in the city. He bet me Yoshinoya was open, and I bet him no. Punishment??? Had to sing Akon-I want to Fuck You atKaroake. Oh hahaha, this was interesting. Once we reached our destination, guess who won? I did ^_^ Moral of the story. Trust my judgement =D
As exciting as the bet was, we worked out on the way back that Green Box Plus didn't have the song, so we eventually worked out a harsher punishment.

Walking back into the Karoake room, shirtless =P

Haha, man did that take guts. Is the real Sexy Back? =P
PG rated ^_^

Anyways.

To end on a sad note. I lost my beanie today. Hence the title ;_;
It's the second one this year. First one was my bad boy one. This second one was the one from Somps. I'm sorry somps ;___;
I took it off on the bus because I wanted to feel the wind flowing through my hair. ><
Usually I check my seat before I leave, to check if I've left anything, but as the bus was arriving to my stop, I heard a miscellaneous ring tone from the direction of an empty seat. I automatically assumed someone had left their mobile, and being the wannabe Hero that I am, I went to look for it. I didn't find any mobile, and being distracted, I left the beanie on the bus. *Sigh.....* example of why there aren't much heroes in the world.

Hope you all had a good holiday!!!

BDM Pre-Christmas Party

Yesterday was Hot!!! (literally)

Twas' fun to hang out with the BDM crew. Too bad I missed the first part, the Karoake part. From what I hear, it was a not to miss. Oh well. Next time xD.....

Note to everyone: Karoake World has no reception inside. So please be considerate, and come out once in a while to see if anyone has been trying to contact you. Thank you!!

Okay... I finally got to show everyone Akenaya! (after it being a backburner place to eat)... WooT!!

Ultramarcus!_!

The place is alright, but what's different about the place is the toilet pass. Haha....... I did hype it up a little, but never did I expect it to do an inverse implosion. What does that mean, well.... according to the girls, the girls toilet smelt (REALLY BAD) yeah.... there was a guy in it. And something was smeared on the walls. And one cubicle was dark. Haha.... yeah.........lol.................... Sorry.............
If it makes it any better, the guys toilet was clean =P

Btw, thanks Emily for the cool Kriss Kringle!
And thanks for the lovely card Somps!
And I have to admit, when I bought the N*SYNC Kriss Kringle Gift, I had either Flora or Emily in mind (xD, reasons only they know).... haha, but they got each other, TWICE!!! Freak of coincidence? or fate?
Hope you like the Present Rach!!!

Afterwards, we headed down to Darling Harbour to get icecream. On the way, Marcus and I discovered King Pin and M9, a laser challenge place!! We were like WoaH!!!!! We successfully convinced the counter chick to show us around the arena, which was like:
"yeah, nice...... cool!..... nifty.......okay......... looks all the same now..............okay....let's go............."

Watching the kiddies

But in retrospect, the Bowling place was nice. Very Retro. I'd definitely come back for that one day.

Christmas Pressies

YaY!! I've done nearly most of my Christmas shopping.

Although I love large amounts of people, crowded environments, and the little hustle and bustle here, I just wanted to get it out of the way early this year.

Can't wait to distribute them.

He's out!! That is, cricket.

Oh my. My good friend Daniel invited me to the Sydney Cricket Ground to watch a game of cricket. My first initial thoughts weren't all too good. I loved cricket as a kid, but as I grew older, I begun disliking it due to it's slow pace, and "dagginess". Cricket is kinda like "watching the grass grow" slow.

So I was looking forward to this cricket game. It was Australia vs New Zealand. Hopefully this cricket game would rekindle my young love of Cricket. I wanted to give Cricket a chance.

NOT a chance. Today, it rained like shiba. I spent a while sitting there, may I add, IN THE RAIN. The teams played up to 6 overs, then it started to rain to a substantial level. They brought the players in. All the fans, including myself, are left there waiting for more instructions. We are told nothing.

Not happy at the weather, and the attitude to the fans, I went to do some research. It turns out if the game is canceled before 10 overs, a full refund is issued. If 10-25 overs are played, a half refund is made. When over 25 overs, they won't issue a refund.
That's like........ like................... paying full price for a bag of biscuits, being guaranteed 1/4, and the other 3/4 is not guaranteed ~_~
Anyways, enough of this slander.

I went on to ask a security guard when they would announce when the game would be officially canceled. He said 7:30. The time was 5:30. I had been there since 4:00. Forget about it.

I left.

Did I get a full refund. I don't know. I'll have to see.

Thanks so much for inviting me to the Sydney Cricket Ground. I really wanted to watch my first ever official cricket game live. But for next time, thanks, but no thanks. I don't think I would like to gamble my time like that again. All the best for us though, my attitude might change in a few weeks, but right now, no suredy bob.

P.S: I'll be posting up some pics up soon.

Death note and my $10.88 lesson

I watched my first episode of Death Note ever. It was quite interesting, yet very morbid at the same time, which made it sad watching it at the time.
I viewed it on youtube, and coincidently it was the english dub. I know i know........ english dubs are bad. And I couldn't agree more for this episode, but I couldn't be bothered to change.

My reactions of the story were generally like this:

@__@

I can see why people like it. It has great animation. Some parts were animated amazingly, other parts you could see they got lazy and used static shots.

Static.....................................

Oh...look! The exams Answers book. No wonder he always comes top of the class.

I can't wait for the detective part to come in. Then that's probably going to be interesting.

If I had a deathnote book, I would have misused it today. Gosh.... why?
Well, let me tell you why.

Heading out to work on my usual walk to the station, I begun to talking over the phone doing producer stuff. I had the feeling that if I got too relaxed talking to others, I would miss the train. It eventually skipped my mind. When I arrived at the park (next to the station), to my dismay, the train had already arrived on the platform. I was shocked. I hung up on my friend, and checked my phone time. 1:55 it read.
...... oh yes. IT was early by 2 MINUTES. I watched the train leave over the distance.

I almost cried. I hated myself so badly. I now was going to be late for work ~_~
Erratically, my first thought was, okay... don't panic. I'll just catch a Taxi to the next station and catch the upcoming express train. The taxi came, I popped in.
The taxi brought me over the bridge, only to show me a train that I COULD of caught instead. I, Raymond, did not check to see if there was a train.
-____________________________- "D'oh!!!!!"

So yeah, the taxi eventually charged me $10.88 for a distance I really could have walked given the time.

Moral of the story: Don't act on impulse. DONT EVER. ALWAYS THINK BEFORE YOU DO

oh........

and one more thing

Apples are good for your teeth.

See.....

What watch?

Well. Since I haven't watched anime for months, I'm now finding it a bit boring. I used to be occupied by work, but now that's subsided a bit, I need to find something to entertain myself.

I now watch Heroes once a week, which is good.
Naruto comes out once a week, but I've stopped watching that. Reason? If Star Wars could be recapped in 30 seconds, Naruto eps could be recapped in 2.
And I'm deciding to watch Smallville again. The story line isn't all to interesting, but the lighting and special effects is what keeps me interested.

Any more suggestions?

What's the prize? My big fat shiny metal ass. That's one bun each. Thanks for playing =)

TAG! You're it!!

Thanks for coming to my place today! I hope you all had a wonderful time. I don't usually have alot of people come over to my place, so I'm a bit embarressed, and as a result, I'm not very good with this hospitality thing. I would imagine it's a bit shocking, and it's really what I've grown in too. You guys were too awesome and polite. Come by anytime in future. I feel much more comfortable after today.

Now that there's 2 weeks until the execution. It's going to be very very hardwork, so please please, let's open our wings, and get ready to fly!!!!!!!! I'm producing for the next couple of weeks, so I'm going to be really hard on producer mode. So please don't be freaked out if I'm not myself (which I'm usually not anyways ~_~) And also I may have to apologise in advance to those who send me messages as I will be only replying to those that hold top priority. Thank you!!!

And here's my desktop after M12 arranged it by name. Usually I take the time to rearrange it back to the format I usually have it as, but because M12 did this, I'm going to stick to this for the timebeing. It's good, because it will keep reminding me off today, and what I need to get done QUICK!!!!!!!!!!

LETS ROLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Strange Dream

Wa..~~! I just woke up from a pretty strange dream.

JEDI JUMP (HS buddies)
A few things happened before, but this is the point where I start remembering as I'm typing:
It all started with Eric and I at a mansion, just above a beautiful lush green lawn. We become engaged in this argument so once more, we draw out a dual lightsabers. We battle it out Jedi style. Sabers are clashing, jedi styled jumps and all. We eventually battle all the way down to a the street. Awaiting us there is a book Mobil. But not any ordinary book Mobil, it's a hentai one.

As we were battling, I could not help wonder why there was it was there.
Eric and I are equally matched, so I end the deadlock by threatening to burn one of the books with my lightsaber, and hence catching fire and burning down the whole collection. He thinks I' m bluffing, but I show him I'm serious. I turn on my beam, and draw the lightsaber close to the books. Eric retreats.

When he backed to a feasible distance, I turned off my lightsaber, dropped it on the books, and jedi jumped away. Still under the impression the books are burning, Eric tries to recover the from a fake arson attack.

PARTY BOAT (uni buddies)
It then started again with me waiting at a Central Station platform. I was sitting on a park bench, going through my bank statement and balance when suddenly all my uni buds came from behind. They all were trying to convince me to go on this clubbing boat cruise, and I was like...ahh.... "I thought you guys don't go on boat cruises".

Out of no where, Michael Peters appears, and he begins to try convince me to go on the boat cruise. He has a devious smile on his face. Another partner accompanies him. I hide my bank statement. I come up with an excuse saying "But I can't go. I have to stay in Sydney. I need to buy this really expensive gift for a friend". It was a straight lie, but I didn't really want to go on the cruise. Michael Peters flashes out a Westpac Visa card, and replies "Don't worry, whatever you need to buy, I'll buy it for you. Here.Use my card". I was caught in my own lie, and next thing I know, I leave my bag on the parkbench, and head towards the boat.

Heading down the ramp towards the lower level of the two decker boat, Chibi stays on the mid level between the two. Everyone heads down to the bottom. Shanks and Burpy run straight down and start mingling around with the exotic dancers. For some reason, I couldn't take it, so I ran out of the boat.

As I returned back to the park bench, my bag was gone. I panicked. I automatically assumed Peters, but couldn't be sure. I ran towards the entrance of the platform, with an eye out for my bag. Eventually I spot it, as it's a small bright orange and black bag. The stranger unhooks it from their bag, and latches it on the back of someone else. All I did was grab the bag back, and head back to the boat.

Contemplating if I should head back on the boat, I realised I didn't have a wrist band to prove I payed for entry. I decided to just stay outside.

Out of the blue, Somps comes running out of the boat and starts yelling. As I start calming her down, everyone comes out to see what's wrong. Somps decides to tell us she feels really sick. She runs off!! My first instinct was to follow her, and see what was wrong. As she's running, I'm right behind her tail, observing where she's going. A sudden stop, and Somps turns right into a old fashion looking but modernized toilet (on the platform @_@). I halt, and wonder what she's up to. I have my thoughts. Marcus just arrives right behind me, and wonders what the h**l's going on. We look blankly, as we have no real idea.

After a while, Somps comes out and I ask her:
"Are you pregnant?"
"No, yes, I don't know"
"You better not be, you have a career to fulfill"

RALLY TRAIN (work buddies)
Next thing I know, I'm on the train towards Campbletown, but I'm not with my uni friends anymore. I'm with my work friends. Lawrence and Joyce are accompanying me. Supposedly we're heading to Campbletown to save something. As we make our journey, we have the knowledge that we have to travel a certain stations before the thing is saved. All we can see is lights flowing past as we're in a tunnel. We're also nagging about the thing we usually nag about. Which is kinda strange at the time.

Suddenly, we know that we've saved what we were meant to save, and anticipate to head back to Domestic.
Ray: "Terrific, so what's the next major station? Or should we catch an all stops train back?"
Lawrence: "Looks like we'll have to catch an all stops back. It's some strange station ahead."

We all looked at the map, and it spelt Birdaragoo.
Joyce shouts out: "Look, we're reaching the end of the tunnel"

To our amazement, there's a whole line of Formula One Rally Cars all line up along the grass. One speeds past, and the crowd goes wild. We think we're Bathurst, but really, it wasn't. Another friend also named Eric suddenly pops up from behind me. He's a really huge fan of Forumla 1 Rally Cars. Catching on his excitement, I get myself hyped up too.

As the train becomes closer to the station, the irony of this world reveals that it was really a Formula One Rally Car repair station.

---------------------------------------------------
I wake up.
And there you go. I'm typing this up.
LOL, questions, queries, comments, feel free to ask. Just speaking rawly of my mind.

Coogee fun!!

WARNING!!!!!!! NOT SO PICTURE HEAVY BLOG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me start from my only picture from Blackbird. See exhibit A.
OMG!!!! Spaghetti sauce on my beautiful white pants.

Exhibit A

Here's m12 with his angry eyes.
Here's somps with her innocent eyes.
Gosh, they balance this picture out.

ET and Floz. Wonder what they're thinking about. Probably undertaking one of their hilarious schemes to take over the world. Hope it doesn't involve red chillis.

Halil: Grr.... I'm eating!! Stuff you!!
Flora's thoughts: WWWWWWOoooooooooAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhh..........................
See how blown away she is from the comment.

Awwwww....... isn't this one just cute. Jacky and Jen.
You still have to explain to us why you guys were gone for so long ~~~xD!!!!!!

Just before we left, Halil found something. Amazing......... o_O!! I wonder what he found. I still have no idea.

Okay...... enough pictures!! let's go have gelato!!!!

This is ET and Floz waiting in line for eye scream. Halil was in it too, but he jumped out. Why Shanks, why?????

Floz: Quick!!! I'll take out the anti-picture spray from my bag.

Eye screaming the Icecream

And look!!!!
It's a cute butterfly on my leg!! wahahahahaha

And don't forget to pick up your COFA Annual Invitations from the marketing office. You get 5!!!

So secret that I don't even know

Sometimes I worry about myself. I can forget about everything I did in one time.
Sometimes I walk from one place to another. But when I reach a destination, I can't recall what happened during the time from when I started, and when I ended.
Sometimes I even know something exactly happened, but can't recall the source of it.

Do I have Source Anemsia?
Or maybe, I have split personality. It takes over, so I forget what's happened.
Or even, it's possible.... I could be a casual sleeper agent from a secret agency....O_O no one would ever suspect me as a special agent.

Another week of picture blogging (late too =P )

Here we are, at another day of Uni. This sun is up high, and feeling us with warmth. Ah...nice sun.

This is M12 intending to roll someone for their precious bag. It's mine really, isn't it awesome?
[m12 edit: It's really for a class exercise ^^, the class is called Working with Scissors and Knives]

What's more awesome are these 32 bulb LED lights. *Squeeeeems* I want some!!!!!!
They'd be so useful for lighting situations =D

Marcus and I were taking pictures of COFA. We will be missing the place, and I felt so sad we were going to leave so soon. I'll miss all the happy memories around COFA. *sniff*

Here's a lighting studio setup. We were to photograph a stuffed embryo. (that's stuffed as in stuffed toy) We used two large softlights for the top lights, two electecrom s3000 for the bottom background flood lights, and placed them over an acrylic glass so the background could be white washed. The camera was mounted on a humongous tripod =D

And to end, it's pic of Wolli Creek xD..... don't think I'll forget that place anytime soon =P

1 Hour at Wolli Creek, and HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY Rachel !!!!!

AAhh........ just got back from Rachel's Bday. Was very fun, and the place was extremely huge!!
Had heaps to eat, and didn't realise how popular Rachel was ^^ Go Rachel, the shy girl always has a secret side to her ^^
Now you are a young adult into the world, you will strive with brilliance and integrity!!!!!!!
HAPPY 21st Birthday Rachel !!!! Your birthday T'was nice and fun =D

But fun is not free, and the world must balance. After work today, I thought I'd head straight down to Hurstville for Rachel's bday. All I had to do was buy a return ticket from Wolli Creek to Hurstville because my travel pass included travel to Wolli. I thought...."hey!! I'll get there really quickly". Oh.. i thought wrong.

When I got off Wolli Creek, I realised I had no cash on hand. I couldn't buy a ticket from Wolli Creek. ....I ...........was................stuck O_O

The ticket station didn't accept cards, the station corner shop (with EFTPOS) was closed for 5 minutes, and I had 2 minutes to buy a ticket before the Hurstville train came. The station attendant advised me to go to the grocery stores behind the building. "It's just behind that building........" "Just behind that building" repeated through my mind. .....Funny thing....., behind the building was a 10 minute walk. This resulted with the stores not even having EFTPOS.
*_*''

When I walked back to the station, I had missed that 2 minute train, and another train which just left the station. (a little thought to myself, why do I go to the trouble of buying a ticket?)
The corner store had just opened (NOT 5 minutes!!!), and I walked in to find the ATM is temporarily out of service. The only way to withdraw money now was to buy over $5.00 .........haha........ I'm thinking, ~_~ that's such a way to earn money. I bet that ATM is ALWAYS "out of service"

Anyways........ once I had the money to buy my ticket, I had to wait 10 minutes for the next train. Sadly......... I spent the next hour, watching the arrival time flick from 10 - 9 - 8 - 9 - 8 - 9 - 8 - 9 - 8 - 7 - 6 - 5 - 4 - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1.
So me being me, I went up to talk to random strangers. I offered a few kids some lollies, I helped some random boy look for some stuff that fell on the tracks, I spoke to an old guy about how people were always compacted on the train, and I learnt from some European guy about Ham Radio. He also had a super cool petrol helicopter controller, and he explained how you have to callibrate the controller on the computer before use.

Yup, that was my afternoon/night. Wonder what's in store tomorrow. Better get to sleep, have work 2morrow morning ~_~

New Blog Style, call it ... Photo blogging ;)

I'm going to start adopting Photo blogging. With all the SmeXy pictures I take, I'm bound to have a better chance of remembering what happened. So from now on, you'll be seeing photos followed by supplementary text of my week. Unless it's a special post ^_^

Now let's begin:
Week 2 -

Ha!! Classic time!! This is a sliding book shelf controlled by the wheel on the right. I asked Marcus to slide the shelf in an attempt to squeeze me as I ran across to the other side. Luckily I made it. Otherwise I wouldn't be blogging right now xD

This is the photocopy card vending machine in the Law library. So much hotter and cooler than the ones we have on campus.

Funny banner XD !! On the side of the bike, it says: "One Less Car". Very true. I agree :@!!!

Magnificent image of the newly built UNSW building. My personal favourite of the week.

When am I going home?
Myself all fluffed out after several hours of documentary shooting. Never had to carry a camera for that long @_@ Very late at night by then.

Painting with Light exercise. We used a 5x4 camera to lengthen the exposure time, allowing us to create surreal effects. Wish I kept one of the photos. I could show you all.

My only shot from intensive games of Bball. I got it hand it to Pat, Eriz, Kieren and Ji. They are pretty good players ^_^ I better improve my game, otherwise I'd lose steam.

AAAAAAAAAhhhhhh............................ finally finished blogging. T'was much easier than normal blogging. I don't have to force myself to write long sentances and make sure they flow. I like that.

Stuck in my head

The song from The Rembrandts - "Just the way it is, baby" has been stuck in my head the WHOLEEEEEEEE day. I can't get it out of my head. I just can't ~_~
I've tried listening to other songs, but it just won't go. Why???????

Bummer

Aww..... we lost to Marcus' team today. But that wasn't really a suprise. They were better. But what we learnt from the experience was more valuable than winning or losing. It taught us that we could work well as a team, and if we keep practicing, we will kick ass ;)

Second thing, the Eels lost to the Eagles. Oh Shiteness.... that really sucked. This was due that silly bad ref call. Stupid ref ~_~....... bet he was bribed. His decisions were so biased.

Here's a pic of an awesome kick as a result of one of the Eel's tries.

So that was my day yesterday.... Surely two losses in one day can't be good for the heart =(

Work, Life, Play.

Beginning of a new uni semester.
Beginning of a new day.
Beginning of a new hard worker.

First days of uni were fun. I almost forget how beautiful main campus could be. A good example is just the picture above. Fabulous!!

Anyways... I learnt something late yesterday, so incredibly awesome!!! it can be considered 100x awesome!!! Here's the background. Lately, I've been bumping into Simon Hunt ever since I had to use the CG15 Protools HD computer. He helped me get the system running, and how to use the Mixing desk and another machines inside. If that wasn't that exciting, now imagine this. Whilst I was working on my audio work for my short film, he asked me how I was doing. I gave a generic answer, then I later explained that I had some background distortion that was quite irritating.
RESULT: He sat down and taught me how to seperate background nose to the sound files!!!! OMG!!!! I didn't believe it at first, but the annoying complex background noise was really gone!!! The only small sacrifice was the voice quality, but that was hard to recognise)

WOW>>>>>>>>> THANK YOU SIMON!!!!!! If you need help doing that, ask him!! or you can ask me =)

First day of the business lecture, and the lecturer comes in trying to be funny. He suddenly goes around trying to find out the background of the class. *roll eyes* As he gets up to asking who's Chinese, around 18% of the class put their hands up. The reacts, replies, and says: "I'm Chinese too!!" *roll eyes even more*
Then a few minutes later, he talks about this legal case, and to my suprise, he goes..... "this is very gwai gwai shi shi".......OMG!!! did he just say what he just did?? ....... maybe he is Chinese!!! Marcus didn't even react. Later on, he uses "gwai gwai shi shi" again. Oh my!!! this guy MUST have some Chinese background o___O!!!

Before the shuttle bus left to COFA, it broke down. OMG >
Here's a few pics of Marcus and Somps at lunch time. Random picture taking.

Marcus' Good Smiling: We should get Ray to read this.
Here you go Ray, read this.
LOL!!! I can't believe he's reading it!!!

BEAUTIFUL PICTURE taken on train back home: (WOW, the world can be so wonderful)

WARNING, incredibly funny supporting Caption below. Do not read if faint hearted.

It's a page from Wizard Magazine.
Back story: Union Jack is the United Kingdom superhero version of Captain America. In a comic, he has to save London from a massive upcoming terrorist threat. He has 6 hours to diffuse the situation..... even Jack Bauer has longer than that.
